Record nominations make ACQ Law Awards 2011 the biggest ever
The M&A industry’s most prestigious and established awards for the legal community returns for its fifth year. The votes have been counted, the judges have deliberated and now we are proud to say that the winners list for the ACQ Law Awards 2011 has been announced.
ACQ’s readers have been helping the judges to reward law firms from across the globe for the exceptional quality of their work over a broad spectrum of specialised fields. Winners should be especially proud this year as more readers than ever before nominated the companies whose work ranges from assisting M&A transactions to areas such as Aviation Law and Environmental Law among other valuable services. Mainly fellow professionals, our readers have nominated the firms which they feel are most deserving of an accolade for their work over the last 12 months.
The ACQ trophies remain the most coveted among firms in the legal profession due to the magazine’s readers’ contribution and the openness of it’s awards process.
Head of the judging panel Anthony Corbin said: “Choosing winners this year has been especially difficult as ACQ readers nominated in unprecedented numbers for firms who are clearly doing outstanding work worldwide. It’s refreshing to see several smaller firms among the winners as it proves that biggest is not invariably best and the law industry is an open field.”
