The Director of NBGI, Joseph Bergin, has left the lower mid-market private equity firm.
Bergin had been with NBGI for just over three years and was previously working for Octopus Investments, where he worked on the deal tem that focused on the North of England.
Before this, Bergin was a Director at 3i’s European buyout team and worked in Munich and Frankfurt in Germany.
Before Bergin began his career in private equity he worked for ICI and Astra Zeneca.
Academically, Bergin graduated from the University of Exeter with a history and politics degree and has an MBA and MSc in business management from the London Business School.
